Dr. Marissa Zerkowski - Veterinarian

Dr. Marissa Zerkowski grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania, and was drawn to the Asheville area for the mountains.

Dr. Zerkowski attended Elizabethtown College for her bachelor's degree and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Cornell University. During veterinary school, she helped organize the annual Spay Day event which provides free spay and neuter services to the local community. Dr. Zerkowski's interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and endocrine disorders.

In her free time, Dr. Zerkowski enjoys playing softball, hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing. She shares her home with her husband, Dalton, and two Labrador retrievers, Mia and Nellie.
